You can just connect channel 5 and channel 6 from the FUTABA receiver to CH5 and CH6 on the top plate. These are not controlled via PPM. You can use PPM for the rest or switch to traditional. It doesn't matter.

These will also work when using an SBUS Rx.

Same applies to the camera switch on channel 8.
